Congratulations to Sensei Hayward for receiving the title of Shihan from Hombu Dojo

Sensei Hayward received the title on Sunday 31st January 2010 along with two other 6th Dans, Peter Brady and Philip Smith Sensei's

 

Welcome to the official Te Shin Kai Website

FORMED in 1993, Te Shin Kai was the first House within the United Kingdom Aikikai. Headed by Keith Hayward Shihan, 6th Dan Aikikai, Te Shin Kai has clubs throughout the United Kingdom teaching traditional Aikido.

Keith Hayward Sensei has been began training in 1968, 2008 being his 40th anniversary of practice. Sensei has a foundation of clubs within Shropshire, England with affiliated clubs in Cleethorpes, the Isle of Wight and London. As well as Aikikai Shidoin Sensei Hayward is a member of the Technical Committee of the United Kingdom Aikikai and regularly teaches at UKA Summer Schools and courses.
 

With the formation of the House System in the UKA many people have joined Te Shin Kai and taken advantage of sensei’s teaching and experience. Others, under his direction have started their own dojos’ (clubs) meaning that sensei teaches regularly at a variety of courses and seminars.
